We’re working with a supportive, inclusive school that’s looking for a skilled and compassionate SEN teacher to help pupils with additional needs to feel understood, confident and capable of success. Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Building strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Creating a safe and supportive environment where pupils feel secure and motivated to learn
Requirements:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
- Has experience teaching pupils with SEND or SEMH previously
- A patient, flexible and reflective approach to teaching
- A genuine commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
