We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary schools across Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and want flexible or long-term work within education. You may be working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, supporting pupils in the classroom, in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Working with pupils individually or in small groups
- Assisting with behaviour management and engagement
- Supporting children with SEND where required
- Helping to create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)
- A positive, patient and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
