Are you a creative, patient, and passionate individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism and complex needs?

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with ASD, PMLD, and additional learning needs.

You'll use creative and sensory-based activities such as art, music, play, and hands-on learning to engage children, develop communication skills, promote independence, and support their overall development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism and complex needs
  • Deliver engaging sensory, creative, and therapeutic activities
  • Support communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing
  • Assist with personal care and mobility where required
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, Autism, or complex needs
  • Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, sensory learning, or similar approaches is desirable
  • Patient, resilient, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer
