About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our supportive and vibrant school community in Brent. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about education and eager to support students’ learning. As a Graduate TA, you will assist in classroom activities, provide one-on-one support for students, and help foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities in the classroom
- Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, both inside and outside of the classroom
- Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
- Support the teacher in planning and preparing learning materials and resources
- Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to help them succeed
- Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to support students' development
- Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
About You:
- A recent graduate (or about to graduate) with a degree in any subject
- Passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their full potential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Patient, adaptable, and confident in dealing with diverse learners
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Previous experience in education (tutoring, mentoring) is desirable, but not essential
