Overview Job Title: Geography Teacher Location: Middlesbrough Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £150 – £250 Per day Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students Assess and evaluate students\’ progress through assignments and exams Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies Required Qualifications Bachelor\\\’s degree in Geography or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Education Minimum of a Bachelor\\\’s degree in Geography or related field Experience Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of Geography concepts and theories Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject Organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience using technology in the classroom Working Conditions Full-time position with regular school hours Work in a classroom setting with students aged 11-16 Potential for extracurricular involvement such as field trips and parent meetings All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
