Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible supply basis across a range of nurseries, children's centres and early years settings throughout the London Borough of Haringey.

The Role

  • Support children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities
  • Assist with observations and daily nursery routines
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff and families
  • Support children with SEND where required
  • Provide personal care, including toileting and feeding where necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, children's centre, or early years setting
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
  • Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience using nursery systems such as Tapestry is beneficial
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
  • A current Safeguarding certificate or willingness to complete training
  • The right to work in the UK
