Protocol Education is looking for a dedicated SEND Learning Mentor to join a welcoming specialist school in

- The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including
- Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
You'll provide consistent pastoral and learning support, helping pupils manage challenges, build positive relationships and develop the confidence they need to succeed.
- Your responsibilities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Providing pastoral and emotional support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Developing trusting relationships with pupils
- Helping pupils manage barriers to learning
- Supporting social and emotional development
- Encouraging independence and self-confidence
- Working closely with teaching staff
- Contributing towards individual pupil targets
- Recognising and celebrating achievements
- The ideal candidate
