We're working with a welcoming primary school in Benwell looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join their dedicated SEND Hub this September. The Hub supports a small group of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) as their primary need, alongside pupils with Global Developmental Delay. The school has created a nurturing, structured environment where children can access personalised learning and specialist support, helping them build confidence, independence, and positive relationships. The Role
- Deliver engaging, highly personalised learning tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with ASC and Global Developmental Delay
- Create a calm, structured, and communication-friendly learning environment
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, families, and external professionals
- Use a range of strategies to support communication, social development, and emotional regulation
- Monitor progress and celebrate every success, big or small
