Job Title: Experienced SEMH Support Assistant – Specialist Secondary Provision

Location: Northumberland

Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

Start Date: asap pending successful clearance

  • Delivering trauma-informed support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Leading targeted interventions and supporting learning 1:1 and in groups
  • Using de-escalation strategies confidently and adapting behaviour plans as needed
  • Acting as a role model for resilience, communication, and positive relationships
  • Supporting colleagues with best practice and contributing to whole-school strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
