Protocol Education is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Kingston upon Thames. About the Role

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
  • Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils in reaching their individual goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Experience in education, care, youth work, or support work is beneficial but not essential.
