We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across

South London that are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their EYFS teams.

The Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children during the most important stage of their education.

Working alongside the class teacher, you will help create an engaging, safe and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting children within Nursery or Reception.
  • Delivering learning through play and child-led activities.
  • Assisting with phonics, early maths and language development.
  • Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development.
  • Encouraging independence and positive behaviour.
  • Working with individuals, small groups and the whole class.
  • Contributing to observations and children's learning journeys where required.

What We're Looking For

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).

  • Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
  • A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework.
