We’re working with a range of vibrant nurseries and welcoming primary schools across Epping Forest and Harlow who need confident, nurturing practitioners to step in and make an immediate impact. What you’ll be doing:

  • Bringing energy and creativity into Early Years settings
  • Supporting children aged 0–5 through play, structure, and routine
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment
  • Building quick, meaningful connections with children and teams
  • Adapting with confidence to different nurseries and schools

What we’re looking for:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (ideal, not essential for the right experience)
  • Hands-on experience within EYFS settings
  • Someone proactive, reliable, and genuinely passionate about Early Years
  • A natural team player who can hit the ground running
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or happy to apply for one)

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
