Contract: Full-time, Long-term

This role is all about consistency and calm. You’ll be supporting a secondary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them regulate emotions, manage behaviour, and stay engaged with learning. The pupil presents with SEMH needs and benefits from clear routines, patient support, and a trusted adult who doesn’t give up on tough days. You’ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to follow behaviour plans and keep the day predictable and safe.

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups within the classroom
  • Helping children access learning in a way that works for them
  • Supporting emotional regulation, routines and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
  • Building strong relationships that help pupils feel safe and confident

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
