We are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Dewsbury, offering a competitive daily rate of £93–£120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within mainstream and specialist schools across Dewsbury.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 SEN support and small group interventions
- Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, and additional learning needs
- Implement and follow EHCP strategies
- Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupil development
- Experience working within SEN / Special Educational Needs (desirable)
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
