Protocol Education is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEND Support Assistant to work within a caring and inclusive secondary school in the Gateshead area. This role is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into September.

Staff work closely together to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students with additional needs are able to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a SEND Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of additional learning needs both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to help students access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.
The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people, with experience working with SEND students being highly desirable. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference in education while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
