Protocol Education is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEND Support Assistant to work within a caring and inclusive secondary school in the Gateshead area. This role is available for an immediate start until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into September. The school is well known for its nurturing environment, strong pastoral support, and commitment to ensuring every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their personal best.

As a SEND Support Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of additional learning needs both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to help students access learning, build confidence, and develop independence. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people, with experience working with SEND students being highly desirable.
