Full-Time | 9:00am – 3:00pm | Long-Term

Are you confident using British Sign Language and want to make a real difference? We’re working with a specialist SEN school in Sunderland supporting students aged 11–19 with hearing impairments, autism, and complex needs.

Your role:

  • Supporting students using BSL in lessons and daily communication
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping students access learning and build independence
  • Supporting emotional and social development

What we’re looking for:

  • BSL skills (Level 1 minimum, Level 2 preferred)
  • Experience with SEN or a strong interest in the area
  • A patient, calm, and consistent approach
