About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Humanities Teacher to join one of our partnering schools on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that meet a range of student abilities and needs
- Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to support student development
- Establish and maintain a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery
Qualifications and Education
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related subject
- Postgraduate qualification in Education (desirable)
Experience
- Demonstrated experience teaching English at secondary school level
- Experience supporting students from a variety of backgrounds
- Familiarity with using technology to enhance teaching and learning (desirable)
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of the English curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning needs
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
Pay rates are dependent upon experience. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
