Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for flexible work in local primary schools? Or do you have experience supporting children and want to gain valuable classroom experience? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to provide daily supply cover across a range of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools throughout Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity to work in different school settings, develop your skills, and enjoy the flexibility of choosing when and where you work.

The Role

  • Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging classroom activities.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
  • Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.
  • Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Have experience working with children or young people.
  • Are confident, adaptable, and able to work in different school environments.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are patient, caring, and supportive in their approach.
  • Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Have school-based experience or relevant childcare experience (desirable but not essential).
