Job Duties:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials
- Providing one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties
- Supervising students during activities and break times
- Assisting with student assessments and record keeping
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional relevant training or qualifications in education or childcare
Working Conditions:
- Working hours may vary and could include occasional evening or weekend work
