You’re the calm voice, the steady presence, the person who helps a child believe they can. Primary schools across Croydon are looking for Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 Support Staff to work closely with pupils who need a little extra help to thrive. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Helping children stay focused, confident, and engaged in learning
  • Supporting emotional regulation, routines, and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to put support plans into action
