Job Duties:Supporting the early years teacher in delivering educational activitiesAssisting with the supervision of young children during class and playtimeHelping to create a safe and stimulating learning environmentProviding one-on-one support to students as neededAssisting with classroom preparation and tidying up

Required Qualifications:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsEnhanced DBS check

Education:A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:Experience working with young children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:Understanding of early years curriculum and educational practisesEffective communication skills with children and adultsAbility to work well in a teamBasic knowledge of child safeguarding procedures

Preferred Qualifications:First Aid certificationPrevious experience as a teaching assistant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
