Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in a state of the art special needs school in Croydon to start after Easter. This inclusive school offers teaching assistants the chance to work with all ages such as early years, primary and secondary students and will provide training throughout the role.
This particular school is looking for individuals who enjoy working with children of all ages, and are passionate about making a positive impact in students' learning and development. No experience is required, but commitment, passion and dedication are key attributes the school is looking for.
As a teaching assistant, you will be working in small class sizes of 6 - 8 students per class with special needs that include autism, speech and language difficulties and complex needs. If successful, you will support students with their set curriculum, which is tailored to meet the students' needs, developing speech & language skills, teaching vocabulary and comprehension through visual resources, supporting students in core subjects such as numeracy and literacy, and also assisting in creative lessons such as art, music, swimming, cooking, K9 therapy, and sensory play.
