Job Duties:

  • Supporting the primary teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
  • Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Preparing and organising teaching materials and resources
  • Participating in meetings with teachers and parents to discuss student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
