We’re working with a large, well-organised secondary school that puts inclusion and wellbeing at the heart of what it does. They’re looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil who needs consistent, calm guidance to access learning and feel confident in the classroom.
The role:
- Providing dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil during the school day
- Helping the pupil stay engaged, regulated and ready to learn
- Supporting learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive routines
- Working closely with SEN, pastoral staff and teaching teams
