Fancy teaching without the planning and marking? We are looking for confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to join our secondary schools across Telford. If you love working with young people or want to dip your toes into teaching before starting your training, this flexible role could be right up your street.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in when teachers are away and help keep lessons running smoothly. That means:

  • Delivering pre-prepared work
  • Keeping behaviour calm and consistent
  • Supporting pupils to stay focused
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff

Everything is set up for you; you just bring your confidence, calm, and sense of humour to guide the class and keep learning on track.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Supporting pupils, including those with additional needs
  • Using ready-made lesson plans to deliver sessions smoothly

What we are looking for:

  • Right to work in the UK (passport or BRP + share code)
  • Overseas Police Check (if you have lived abroad)
  • Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, coaching etc.)
  • Confident communication and behaviour management skills
  • A calm, professional approach

Bonus points (but not essential): Training or qualifications in education or child development.
