Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant – Specialist School & College – Harlow | Immediate Start Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with complex additional needs? We are working with a highly supportive special school and college in Harlow that is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. The setting supports children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and additional communication needs. Every student receives a personalised approach to learning, with a strong focus on developing independence, communication skills, confidence, and wellbeing. As a Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to help students access learning and achieve their individual goals. The role may involve supporting pupils with sensory regulation, communication strategies, mobility needs, personal care, and social development, depending on the needs of the students you are supporting.
