Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Colchester to recruit a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a full-time role starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at a crucial stage in their learning journey.

The Role

  • Full responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Observe, assess, and track pupil progress to support strong early development
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and EYFS team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching in EYFS (ECTs/NQTs welcome)
  • Strong understanding of early years development and learning
  • Warm, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
