We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team.

Job

Description: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting in the educational and social development of students.

Providing one-on-one support to children with special educational needs.

Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.

Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching materials to meet the needs of each student.

Supporting students in developing social skills and managing their behavior.

Helping with personal care tasks as needed.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience: Previous experience working with children with autism is essential.

This can include personal experience.

Experience in a school or nursery setting is preferred.

Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired.
