We are working with a supportive specialist school in Ealing looking for caring, reliable and experienced SEN Support Assistants to join their team.

The Role

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Supporting pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs
  • Assisting with communication, learning and social development
  • Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Encouraging pupils to build independence and confidence
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
  • Personal care may be required, depending on the pupil's needs

We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • Experience within a school, specialist setting or care environment is desirable
  • Patient, caring and proactive approach
  • Confident supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Must hold both Child & Adult DBS
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and committed to a long-term school role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
