They are seeking a confident, motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor / HLTA to join the team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting teaching and learning across the school and providing high-quality cover during teacher absence.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver planned learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
- Support pupils’ learning in whole-class, group and one-to-one settings
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assist with planning, preparation and assessment under the guidance of teaching staff
- Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusion and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and senior leaders
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
- HLTA status or relevant experience as a Cover Supervisor (essential)
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
