Unqualified Teacher/Cover Supervisor with FREE TRAINING PROVIDED in Secondary Schools in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Protocol Education is working with Secondary Schools to appoint enthusiastic and enterprising unqualified Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join their staffing and cover teams. Such positions provide a great start to your career within the education sector or add to your ever-growing experience.

The school is looking for someone with a degree or strong background in core subjects or working with children and young people in any capacity to lead and cover a variety of lessons throughout the school timetable. To help support you in this unqualified role, we provide FREE TRAINING ON HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL AND EFFECTIVE COVER SUPERVISOR. This training has been created by Protocol Consultants and School Cover Managers to give you the best introduction and core knowledge on how to excel in the role, make the best impact possible for students, handle behaviour positively and stand out in the role. Alongside this Cover Supervisor Training, we also offer FREE TRAINING ON THE THRIVE APPROACH. Whether you're looking to gain a deeper understanding of behaviour or build stronger relationships with pupils - including those with SEMH and SEND, this course is your shortcut to classroom calm.

The Role:

• As an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor, you are responsible for supervising work pre-set in accordance with the schools’ guidelines, and ensuring such work is carried out to the best of their abilities.
• To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
• De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered to.
• Collecting of work at the end of the lesson and returning it to the appropriate recipient.
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

Contract Type: Full and Part Time available

Pay: £100 - £150 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm part time (part time positions also available)

Location: Roles in Wiltshire and all surrounding areas.

Notes: If you are a lecturer or have previous coaching or education experience, or somebody with a specialism in a certain subject this role would be ideal. This role is also ideal for candidates that have taught outside of the UK but are looking to build their experience within the UK but may not have UK teaching qualifications (QTS). All applicants would need to be living in the UK with a current and valid right to work in order to be considered for this role.
