We’re working with a welcoming special needs school that’s looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs. This is a rewarding, hands-on role where patience, empathy and consistency make a real difference every single day.
The role
- You’ll be supporting one pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping them to feel safe, engaged and ready to learn.
- Providing tailored support to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
- Encouraging communication, independence and emotional regulation.
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to follow support plans.
- Supporting learning through play, structure and routine.
- Being a calm, positive presence throughout the school day.
