We're seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with an EHCP within a welcoming primary school.

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support, help deliver small-group interventions, and work closely with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support for a Year 4 pupil with an EHCP.
  • Deliver small-group interventions and adapt learning activities as needed.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure every child can thrive.
  • Support pupils academically and emotionally, promoting independence and confidence.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Experience supporting Children with SEND, particularly neurodiverse learners.
  • Understanding of social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
  • Patient, calm, and committed to promoting independence and confidence.
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team.
  • An enhanced DBS check and all relevant safeguarding checks will be required.
  • Appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
