We\'re looking for a calm, caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with an autism profile in a welcoming primary school in the Bromley Heath area.
You\'ll be an important part of the child\'s day, helping them access learning, build confidence, develop independence and celebrate every success, no matter how big or small.
Alongside individual support, you\'ll also work with small groups and become part of a friendly, supportive SEN team.
- What you\'ll be doing
- Providing consistent 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with an EHCP
- Helping the pupil engage with classroom learning and daily routines
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive social interactions
- Encouraging independence and resilience
- Delivering small group interventions when required
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team
