Our partner schools in Yate are looking for calm, caring and committed Teaching Assistants to support students across secondary, SEMH and SEN settings. If you’ve ever worked with young people or supported others in a care, youth work or social care setting, you’re already bringing something special to the table. You don’t need school experience, just the right attitude and a genuine desire to help students feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students who need an extra steady hand in their day.
- Helping create routines, structure and positive relationships.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.
- Bringing patience, empathy and quick thinking when it counts.
- Being that person who makes the tough days a little easier.
