We are looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist resource base within a welcoming primary school in North Bristol. This is a full-time contract, offering the opportunity to become a consistent and important part of the children's school experience.

The Role

Working within the Resource Base, you will support pupils with additional needs through a combination of 1:1 support, small-group activities and personalised learning.

You will work closely with teaching and support staff to:

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Support children's communication, emotional regulation and social development
Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
Adapt activities to meet individual needs
Support pupils to access learning and participate in wider school life
Provide a calm, consistent and nurturing approach
Celebrate progress and achievements, however big or small

About You

Enjoy building strong relationships with pupils
Are able to work effectively as part of a wider team
Are passionate about helping every child reach their potential
Experience within a resource base, SEND provision, specialist school or mainstream SEN support role would be particularly valuable.
