A wonderful Bristol-based SEN school is looking for a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team in January. You’ll be working within a specialist autism provision that offers structure, warmth, and lots of opportunities for pupils to succeed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with autism in small, structured classrooms
- Helping children follow visual timetables and sensory routines
- Encouraging communication through PECS, Makaton, or play-based activities
- Working closely with the teacher and therapists on site
- Being a calm, predictable presence when things feel overwhelming
