Our partner schools across Bristol are looking for confident and compassionate educators with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role:

You’ll be supporting classes, ensuring learning in a calm and structured environment. Your presence will help students stay focused, regulated, and supported throughout the lesson.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students to stay engaged and complete tasks
  • Managing behaviour with patience, consistency, and understanding
  • Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage participation
  • De-escalating challenging situations using calm and effective strategies
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment
  • Following safeguarding procedures at all times
  • Reporting any concerns through the school’s safeguarding systems

About You

You might have experience in:

  • SEMH settings
  • Behaviour support roles
  • Youth work or mentoring
  • Care or support work with young people
  • Alternative provision or PRU environments
