Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a wide number of Secondary Schools across Central Bristol who are looking for fresh, innovative relatable graduates to lead and inspire their Science timetable.

Your role:

  • Using your Science degree to deliver planned Science content in the Secondary curriculum
  • Passion to work with children and young people and make an impact in their knowledge within Science and other relative subjects.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of the secondary curriculum (subject specific)
  • Lead by example as a strong, presentable role model for ages 11-16 years
  • Lead a classroom of secondary pupils, ensuring they are on track, ready to learn and making progress
  • Support any pupils with additional learning needs, differentiating work and plans if needed
  • Follow power points and lesson plans to a specific structure that is tailored to year groups and ability of students
  • Have strong behaviour management and leadership skills to ensure behaviour is positive within the classroom preventing and de-escalating any situations that may arise
  • Being proactive and thinking ahead, being flexible to adapt
  • Ensuring the classroom environment is safe, welcoming and engaging
  • IT Literate and able to use computer systems and power points efficiently
