It’s perfect for Psychology graduates or anyone interested in behaviour, wellbeing, cognition or supporting pupils with additional needs. You’ll gain hands-on insight into behaviour strategies, emotional regulation, child development and SEND support, making it an excellent stepping stone into educational psychology, clinical psychology or teaching.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils with their learning, help maintain focus in the classroom and encourage positive behaviour. You may work with small groups, individual pupils or whole-class settings depending on the needs of the school. Teachers will guide the activities, so no planning is required, just empathy, patience and a calm, supportive approach.

The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be someone who enjoys working with young people and brings calm positivity into the room. While this role is particularly well suited to Psychology graduates, it is open to all applicants who want to support children and make a difference in schools. We especially welcome people with experience in youth work, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, drama, childcare, summer camps or any people-focused setting. You’ll need to be reliable, confident, patient and keen to learn, and you must have the right to work in the UK.
