Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a wide number of Secondary Schools across Central Bristol who are looking for fresh, innovative relatable graduates to lead and inspire their Maths timetable.
Your role:
- Using your Maths degree to deliver planned Maths content in the Secondary curriculum
- Passion to work with children and young people and make an impact in their knowledge within Maths and other relative subjects.
- Lead by example as a strong, presentable role model for ages 11-16 years
- Lead a classroom of secondary pupils, ensuring they are on track, ready to learn and making progress
- Have an awareness and understanding of the secondary curriculum (subject specific)
- Support any pupils with additional learning needs, differentiating work and plans if needed
- Follow power points and lesson plans to a specific structure that is tailored to year groups and ability of students
- Have strong behaviour management and leadership skills to ensure behaviour is positive within the classroom preventing and de-escalating any situations that may arise
- Being proactive and thinking ahead, being flexible to adapt
- Ensuring the classroom environment is safe, welcoming and engaging
- IT Literate and to be able to use computer systems and power points efficiently
