Protocol Education are looking for a friendly and proactive Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 class in South Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy the buzz of early years learning and love seeing pupils develop those all-important building blocks in reading, writing, and maths.

You’ll work closely with the class teacher to keep learning on track, supporting small groups and individuals with phonics, handwriting, number work, and classroom routines. It’s a role where patience, warmth, and creativity go a long way, whether you’re helping a child master tricky sounds or encouraging them to share ideas with confidence.
