Protocol Education are partnered with secondary schools across Bristol to find Humanities students (undergraduates of English, History, Geography, and other Humanities subjects) to work as Unqualified Teachers / Cover Supervisors flexibly around your studies. This paid role (from £100 per day, £93 if you want to begin as a Teaching Assistant) looks outstanding on your CV, and can lead to permanent roles within schools after you graduate. There is no lesson planning involved; this is a behaviour management role for outgoing undergrads with a positive attitude, engaging tone of voice, and the confidence to lead a room.

We work closely with students at UWE, University of Bristol, Trinity College and more, offering flexible, paid work around the busy periods of university life. For graduates looking for long-term opportunities, we can help secure full-time school placements within weeks.

The Role

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, mainly within History and Humanities
