We're working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Shirehampton looking for a dedicated ADHD Support Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support for a pupil who benefits from additional help with focus, organisation, emotional regulation, and engagement in the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference every single day, helping a child build confidence, develop positive learning habits, and achieve their potential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
  • Helping the pupil stay engaged, focused, and on task during lessons
  • Using positive behaviour strategies and clear routines to support learning
  • Supporting emotional regulation and social interactions
  • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team
  • Celebrating progress, encouraging independence, and helping build self-esteem
