Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexibility in your career? We are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Witham and Braintree who are seeking skilled HLTAs for both long-term placements and day-to-day supply work. The Role
- Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the teacher's absence.
- Support pupils' learning and development both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Support children with additional needs, including SEN, where required.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Have recent experience working within a UK primary school setting.
- Be confident leading whole-class learning across different year groups.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Have a flexible and proactive approach to supporting schools and pupils.
