Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join an Outstanding Special Needs school in Braintree. The students that attend the school have a variety of special needs, including Autism and SLD. Therefore, personal care is required as part of this role. Many of the students are non-verbal, so strong communication is also important.

A strong desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary! All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be. A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm. If you have a real passion for supporting children with special needs and think this role sounds right for you then please apply now!
