An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Female Physical Education to join a thriving, high-performing secondary school from September 2026 on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic and well-resourced PE department within an outstanding educational environment, known for its supportive culture, excellent facilities, and high levels of student achievement and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across the full ability range.
- Contribute to a broad and varied extra-curricular sports programme.
- Plan, develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons and schemes of work.
- Support the continued success and development of the PE department.
- The ability or willingness to teach Health and Social Care would be advantageous.
