We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with learning difficulties and behavioural needs. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, within a supportive and welcoming school environment where guidance and ongoing support will be readily available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with additional learning and behavioural needs
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
  • Promote the child's emotional, social, and academic development
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to support learning outcomes

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Has a genuine passion for working with children
  • Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting individual needs
  • Is reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
