A forward-thinking school in Enfield is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEMH needs and highly challenging behaviours. If you're passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives and have experience in supporting those with additional behavioural needs, we’d love to hear from you. While school-based experience is not essential, having experience in similar environments such as youth work, care settings, or sports coaching will be an advantage. Past experience working with students facing challenging behaviours is highly desirable. Full time The successful applicant will: Stay calm under pressure and manage difficult situations with sensitivity Think creatively in addressing the needs of pupils with complex behaviours Show compassion and empathy for each student’s individual circumstances Inspire and support students with a positive and encouraging attitude Work closely with colleagues and parents to foster positive behavioural changes Take initiative in adapting to the unique communication and learning needs of students The school offers: A supportive and enriching environment A curriculum designed to meet the needs of all students Opportunities for personal development and leadership A strong focus on staff wellbeing and career growth Great transport links Applicants will be required to provide satisfactory references and have an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for one through Protocol Education.
